The library contains more than 5 000 volumes classified by discipline (especially philosophy, sociology, political science and history) and accessible to readers on open shelves.
The catalogue of books is computerised and can be consulted on the spot. It can also be consulted online: Access to the catalogue".
Periodicals:
The periodical collection contains about a hundred titles.
The CEFRES library analyses the articles in the 60 French reviews that it subscribes to, and the database created in this way now includes some 12 000 references.
Services
The library is open from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 17:00.
Books and periodicals can be borrowed, except for reference works and the most recent issues of reviews, which can only be consulted in the library. Items can be borrowed for up to one month.

If you want to renew a loan, reserve a book, or suggest a book the library should purchase, you can use our "online service".
Membership of the library and all services except inter-library loans are free of charge.
Inter-library loans:
The CEFRES library carries out inter-library loans for French works of specialised literature. The whole of the postal costs involved in the loans are charged to the reader.
Readers have at their disposal a workstation connected to the internet. The librarians endeavour to guide them in their search for information in the field of social sciences in France and Central Europe or for purely bibliographical research.
