CEFRES is situated on the premises of the monastery "Na Slovanech", which can easily be picked out in the Prague cityscape thanks to its double spire. This spire was built at the end of the 1960s to replace the towers that had been destroyed during the bombing of Prague at the end of the Second World War.
The monastery was restored to the Benedictine order in 1990. Today it houses the offices of various institutions and enterprises. CEFRES has been based there since it was established in 1991.
It is possible to visit the monastery, which is noted for its gothic vaults and mural frescoes. Opening hours are from 8:00 to 19:00, information is available from the telephone number (+420) 221 979 211.
